Minecraft Resourcepack Merger is a free, browser-based tool that merges multiple Minecraft Java Edition resource packs (texture packs) into one clean, optimized pack. It is powered by LOOM, a proof-carrying merge engine that resolves conflicts intelligently, understands 3D models, OptiFine/CIT and PBR materials, and can port packs between Minecraft versions — all without uploading anything.

Every pack is processed 100% locally in your browser. No files are ever sent to a server, there is nothing to install, and no account is required. When two packs touch the same file, the merge is proof-carrying: the tool only combines them when it can prove the result is equivalent to how Minecraft itself would stack them, and otherwise reports the conflict for you to resolve.

What makes it different

Most mergers simply overwrite files by priority. LOOM is proof-carrying: for every conflict it emulates how Minecraft's own resource-pack stack would resolve that file, and merges only when it can prove the output matches — so the merged pack behaves exactly like loading the originals in order. It also understands the structure of a pack — 3D models, blockstates, OptiFine/CIT/CEM, PBR normal and specular maps, languages and fonts — instead of treating everything as opaque bytes, and it can migrate a pack's pack_format and legacy files to a different Minecraft version.

Supported Minecraft versions

The merger works with Minecraft Java Edition resource packs from as old as 1.6.1 up to the latest 1.21.5 (pack_format 1 through 46). You can combine packs built for different versions, and optionally port the merged result to a target version — the engine rewrites pack_format and relocates renamed or legacy files so the pack loads cleanly on that version. Bedrock Edition packs are not supported.
